A U.S. inventor has come up with a new electrolysis process that he claims could revolutionize how cars are powered. Last week, Denny Klein filed for a patent on the process, which has reportedly gotten attention from the Department of Defense and one major U.S. automaker. While Klein's idea sounds promising, the history of hydrogen - oxygen electrolysis is littered with bold claims and unsubstantiated propositions. People like Steven Horvath in Australia, who sold a lot of stock and ripped off a lot of innocent investors, Henry Garrett in Texas - in 1935 - and Stanley Meyer, who was convicted of fraud in 1996. Andrija Puharich - who also "discovered" Uri Geller! - Archie Blue, Bob Boyce, Carl Cella, Daniel Dingel, Hector Pierre Vaes, Nakamatsu Yoshiro, Sam Leslie Leach, Guido Franch and many others. Maybe Denny Klein is really onto something, so I can't just ignore this news, but take this information with a grain of salt until the day you actually pour water in your tank instead of gas. |
