Humanoid Robotics Projects 2 Prototype A.K.A "P-Chan"



The HRP-2 Prototype (HRP-2P), nicknamed P-chan after the capital letter for Prototype, was the first human sized robot capable of lying down and getting back up again. It accomplishes this with a flexible torso joint, bending rather than rotating as seen in newer ASIMO models.
