Project Aiko's assertive fembot

Aiko is one of the first androids to mimic pain, and reacts to it. This technology can be beneficial for people born with or who have undergone amputations. This is the first step toward a life-like mechanical limb that has the ability to feel physical sensation.

Aiko is the brainchild of robotics developer Le Trung and made its public appearance, November 10, 2007 at the Ontario Science Centre.

Since Le Trung can't find any sponsor, he started a donation for Project Aiko.
